The FC Barcelona’s tour in the US this summer just ended last week with the last match against NY Red Bulls. To secure the tour, the club collaborated with ISL to close its first two games against US teams, Inter Miami FC and New York Red Bull of the MLS league.
The matches took place on July 19th at the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami and on July 30th at the Red Bull Arena in New York.
Capitalizing on the opportunities presented by the US soccer market and expanding their brand presence, while preparing for the upcoming season through touring and friendly matches against leading US teams.
They needed to strategically extend the Barça brand, transmit the club’s philosophy of hard work and values while touring the US, playing exhibition matches against influential local teams. FC Barcelona needed a strong, strategic partner knowledgeable of the US unique and challenging soccer market to arrange exhibition games and to strategically capitalize on opportunities to expand the FCB brand presence. Additionally, preparing for the upcoming season, through touring and friendly matches.
ISL’s Tours and Friendlies department closed friendly matches with local teams on behalf of FC Barcelona ahead of their tour in the United States.
ISL arranged two friendly matches against two of the most influential clubs in the North American League, Inter Miami FC and New York Red Bull of MLS ahead of FC Barcelona’s summer tour. These matches were a great way for Barça to increase brand awareness in the US while the club prepared for their upcoming season.
